Do any Runescape Bots Still Work after the Ban?

Friday, December 2nd, 2011

So it’s been a few weeks since the ban and maybe you’re wondering what the future of RS Botting will be. Yeah, we wonder too. But the good news for now is that there are still both free bots and paid bots that are working and that remain completely undetectable. These bots use macro programming, which even Jagex predicted would eventually grow so complex and human-like that they would be undetectable. Of course, currently Jagex is claiming that they will shut down these macro-based bots as well, and maybe they will, but for now they are working. While you might not be able to level up in dungeoneering using one of these bots, they will certainly help you kill some monsters and earn a little easy gold, and for most of us, that’s better than a sharp stick in the eye. And just what is this currently working macro-based bot? Robotz in Disguise.

If you’re not afraid to learn a little scripting, you can also still use SIMBA. If you’re new to it, you might want to visit this SIMBA forum that will give you advice and instructions on how to get started with it.

No more Runescape Bots? Say it ain’t so!

Thursday, October 27th, 2011

It ain’t so. There. You heard it here first. Runescape bots are down, but they aren’t out. While everyone understands why Jagex has to put on a big bot-killin’ show every now and then, everyone should also know that the guys who develop bots find these little shows to be a welcome challenge. Bots will be back. Maybe sooner, maybe later. How do we know for sure? For one thing, they have only targeted reflection bots for now. There are many other kinds of bots, like paint bots, which are still working. Also, the bot developers themselves have said they can and will figure this out, and are predicting they’ll be back up and running within a month. For many of these developers, this is their passion in life and they aren’t going to let another set of programmers bar them from practicing their craft. And of course, even Jagex knows that for every player who says they hate the botters, there are plenty of botters who are enjoying the game and contributing massively to its popularity. So fear not. While you’re waiting for bots to come back, this is a great time to do a little research so you’ll be ready just as soon as they’re back, or maybe try out some new game play. And check this out if you want to read up on what a real community of expert botters thinks about this round of the official Runescape Bot Ban.

Get RS2 Leveling Macros And Leveling Shortcuts

Friday, February 18th, 2011

The latest RS2 updates are a skiller’s dream with updates for crafting, prayer, and agility. With these updates you’ll be able to do things such as create permanent agility shortcuts, scatter demon ashes, and make urns that benefit other Runescape 2 skills.

RS2 Urn Crafting
It doesn’t matter what your Runescape crafting level is you’ll now be able to create urns for prayer, woodcutting, mining, smithing, fishing, and cooking at any pottery oven. The higher you’re crafting level the higher quality your urns will be.

For more about crafting and to become the best at it put some Runescape guides to use. Or you can even automate the skill by using a RS2 crafting bot.

Demon Ashes and Prayer Urns
Demon slayer’s demonic prey now has a 100% drop. These are impious ashes, accursed ashes, or infernal ashes. These ashes can be scattered for XP or you can keep them to use at the Ecotfuntus where they work as pre-ground bones which will save you some grinding.

If that alone doesn’t save you enough time, you can utilize Runescape macros and have it do the work for you!

RS2 Shortcuts
The River Lum canoe system is made available to F2P (free to play) members. You’ll be able to build canoes at certain points along the Lum and take a one-way trip into the Wilderness. The canoe tutors will even lend you a hatchet!

You can also use your construction skill to create hidey-holes at crossbow shortcuts and rope racks at eagle eyries/Baxtorian Falls. There will be stored crossbows/grapples and ropes so you won’t need to bring your own for this shortcut.

Are You Looking For A RS2 Dungeoneering Bot?

Friday, February 4th, 2011

Dungeoneering is the latest skill to be introduced by Jagex. It is a relatively new RS2 skill so there are not as many resources available to help you with leveling as there are with some of the other skills.

However, slowly but surely RS2 bots, scripts, cheats, guides, and tricks are being created by members who have been quick to master the skill.

One such release has been a RS2 Dungeoneering script that will automatically trains/does the floors for you. The client that this script uses is Powerbot

Directions

  • Runescape Dungeoneering script download
  • Put the .jar into the ‘Precompiled Scripts’ folder
  • Click ‘Compile Script’
  • Open up the Powerbot client
  • The bot will be there ready for you to use.
  • Start it while standing outside the dungeon

This RS2 script will save you hours or even days of boring leveling by doing the newbie floors for you. You’ll be able to skip straight to the exciting parts of Dungeoneering!

RS Bots: Gain Double XP Automatically

Monday, September 6th, 2010

It is the last day of Runescape’s four day bonus weekend! When you log into the game you’ll see the bonus XP modifier. You’ll first start out with 2.7X the normal XP you would get from the usual training activities. Your bonus XP will decrease every 30 minutes of gameplay as seen in the table below:

Once you’ve reached the 1.1X mark it will remain there until the bonus weekend is over. During the bonus weekend our normal XP button on your minimap will change to XP+ to track just how much XP you’ve gained and what your current XP modifier is.

This weekend was a perfect time to use Runescape bots. If you don’t know what a bot is, it’s a program designed to automatically train activities for you while you are away from your computer. Whether its mining, cooking, hunting, or woodcutting you want to level, a bot can get it done for you.

So for example. you can start up a mining bot and let it auto train your mining skills while you’re out to eat. Or you can start up a Runescape 2 woodcutting bot and gain double experience while you’re sleeping.

Runescape Auto Mouse Recorder Download

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

What makes a Runescape auto so popular is its capability of doing tasks in the game on behalf of you. For example, let’s say you’re trying to level your woodcutting skill but you have to go to work or school, you can simply start uf the RS2 auto and let it go to work for you cutting trees.

A simple Runescape auto may just powerlevel your woodcutting skill by picking up the logs and dropping them. However, with a more sophisticated one you can have it pick up the logs, take them to a local bank, and them come back and repeat the whole process!

A RS mouse recorder auto is software that will record your mouse movement and automatically replay them. Whatever you do in RS2, it’ll mimic it.

There are many different mouse recorders available, however a good one is a little hard to come by. Many harmful ones are scattered all over the internet that were created for the sole purpose of stealing your account information. Some are too simple, making it easy to detect while other are too complicated making it hard to figure out.

If you don’t have one yet here is one of the better ones I’ve used: RS2 auto mouse recorder.

It’s safe, undetectable, and easy to use:

  • Records your cursor movement
  • Clicks and keystrokes
  • Replays it over and over again
  • Lets you create your own autos
