Get Runescape 2 Quest Help

Monday, June 28th, 2010

Good news to the F2P (Free to Play) players, The Myths of the White Lands and the Swept Away Runescape 2 quests have been made permanently free-to-play. These two RS2 quests were created for the Halloween 2008 and the Christmas 2008 holiday events.

During these events, the quests were available to F2P players for two weeks and were then changed to P2P (Pay to Play) quests. Any free players who missed out on those two weeks in 2008 now has unlimited opportunities to do the RS quests.

Swept Away
Maggie the travelling witch needs your help finishing off something amazing the she’s cooking up in her cauldron. If you assist her, she just may share the finished product with you

Myths of the White Lands
Explorer Jack is constantly on the search for rare items. He has been tipped off by a passing snow imp who told him a tale of riches the distant Land of Snow. He wants you to go to see if the story is true

These two RS2 quests are replacing the Sheep Shearer and Witch’s Potion quests which were removed from the Quest List adventurers due to them not meeting the standards of the other quests in Runescape 2. You can, however, complete them for item rewards and experience. All you have to do is talk to Hetty the witch in Rimmington or Fred the farmer in Lumbridge and they’ll lead you in the right directions.

There are almost 200 quests in Runescape, each offering their own unique adventures and challenges. If you’re in need of some help, Runescape guides can lead the way. They are filled with RS2 quest tips and information to help you complete missions in a fraction of the time.

RS2 Bots- Increasing Your XP

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

This week Runescape introduced ancient effigies to the potential loot you can get when you defeat certain monsters and creatures. Members who are up for the challenge of going against stronger, more powerful enemies will be more likely to find ancient effigies.

When it comes to ancient effigies, the saying that knowledge equals power has never been more true. These rare drops require you to possess various skills between levels 91-97 so you can feed them knowledge and get to the object stored inside them. Each effigy craves knowledge and in return grants power.

The skills that are needed are always paired with another skill so you can have a choice of which to use

  • Agility or Crafting
  • Construction or Thieving
  • Cooking or Firemaking
  • Fishing or Farming
  • Fletching or Woodcutting
  • Herblore or Hunter
  • Mining or Smithing
  • Runecrafting or Summoning

That’s not all though, you will have to be especially knowledgeable in at least one the skill pairs to successfully investigate the effigy.

Starved ancient effigies require a skill level of at least 91 to investigate, and become nourished. Nourished ancient effigies require a skill level of at least 93 to investigate, and become satedSated ancient effigies require a skill level of at least 95 to investigate, and become gorged. Gorged ancient effigies require a skill level of at least 97 to investigate, and will crumble to dust, their mysterious purpose fulfilled.

The ancient effigies rewards you with experience in the skill that you used to feed it knowledge.

  • Starved effigies award 15,000XP
  • Nourished effigies award 20,000XP
  • Sated effigies award 25,000XP
  • Gorged effigies award 30,000XP

The rewards are great but the journey there is a bit gruesome. Especially for low level players who are far from the 91-97 level mark. But luckily there is assistance available. There are programs known as Runescape 2 bots that can help you get those skill levels to where they need to be in record time.

Busy with work or school? No problem. These bots will get to work for you while you are off living your life. So whatever skills you need to level whether it be mining, woodcutting, or crafting, just put these RS2 autos to work so you can start collecting your rare items.

How To Get A High Level RS Account Effortlessly

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

The longest time spent playing a MMORPG reported by the Guinness World Records 2010 is 16,799 hours. Between November 2004 and October 2009 Sara Lhadi spent an average of 9 hour and 20 minutes of play every single day. The game she played was Runescape.

To most of us that would seem a bit extreme, especially for a game where the common complaint is boring repetition and lack of new and exciting content. However most of us would love that maxed out account that is earned with countless hours of dedication to the game.

Well good news is you can have that high level runescape 2 account without slaving over the computer every spare minute you have, In fact you don’t even have to be at your computer! You can have leveling done for you without lifting a finger!

How is that possible? All you need to do is get a Runescape 2 bot. These are little programs that are designed to automatically go about tasks without any human intervention whatsoever! Some examples of RS2 bots are

As I’ve found out, getting that high level account is achievable without having the dedication and time to devote to the game like Sara Lhadi. All you have to do is get one of these amazing RS2 bots and put it to work for you.

Creating A Great Runescape Guide

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

A Runescape guide will explain the most effective and efficient ways of completing a mission or task. It could be a money making guide, a training guide, or a RS2 leveling guide. Usually a good guide will include:

  • Easy to following, step-by-step instructions
  • Good punctuation
  • Accurate information
  • Screenshots

Below are some RS2 tips to writing your own guide. I’m going to be using a Runescape 2 hunter guide as an example.

1. It is important to introduce readers to your RS2 Guide and let them know what it’s all about

Introduction:
Hunter is a members’ only skill and requires a little money to buy your supplies…..

2. Let members know right away what the requirements are

Starting off:
First, when you start off, it is recommended to have at least 40,000 starting money to buy your supplies and such….

3. Break up the guide in sections, it makes for a much easier read

Levels 1-19/29:
Hunt rabbits in the vinesweeper minigame….

Levels 29-43:
Head over to the grand exchange, it is time to start catching green lizards in Canifs……

Levels 43-63:
Falconry time! That’s right, falconry. Head over to the place near the Gnome Stronghold, near the Picatoris Fishing colony….

Levels 63-83/99:
This is where the experience and hunting gets serious…..

4. And lastly, end the guide with a concluding paragraph or two

Conclusion:
When you’ve reached 99 hunter with this guide, give yourself a pat on the back and show off your new sexy skillcape…..

This is just a small example or writing an effective guide and helping you spot a good guide right away. If you wish to view the full guide you can do so here: RS2 Hunter Guide
